Don't expect perfection....

Well, just imagine that a girl started a food blog.... Imagine this girl had no idea what she was doing. Imagine she knows nothing about photography or computers..... Imagine she knew all of this about herself and still thought she could start her own blog. To top it all off, imagine she started her blog on her 36th birthday. What do you think would be her first post? Maybe a birthday cake? Maybe a simple chocolate cake? Oh no. You could only imagine that if you imagined this girl was sane. This girl is not. I decided that after seeing the Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake on the cover of The America's Test Kitchen Magazine, that this should be my birthday cake.  Why is it that when you really want to impress someone....you try something new. Well I don't know if you do that, but I do. If I'm having people for dinner I don't use a tried and true recipe that is sure to please.  I think that those old recipes won't impress, I need something new and better! Well, perfect or not (and it is not) I made it and it will be my first ever post. Drum roll please..... And again, I can't figure out how to get these pictures to go under the text.
